A vacancy is available for a Photocopy Operator to provide photocopying support services within the Directorate: Departmental Government Information Technology Office (DGITO).

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 8, ABET, or AET Level 2 qualification recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate photocopying machines efficiently.
  • Produce copies of documents as requested by various departments.
  • Request and maintain sufficient photocopying materials and supplies.
  • Perform basic maintenance and routine checks on photocopy machines.
  • Ensure photocopying equipment remains clean and in good working condition.
  • Carry out any other related duties as required.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will undergo:

Candidates applying for Senior Management Service (SMS) posts will also complete additional assessments, including technical exercises, interviews, and psychometric evaluations where applicable.

Applicants with foreign qualifications must ensure that their qualifications have been evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Successful candidates will be required to:

  • Sign a performance agreement within one month of appointment (where applicable).
  • Disclose their financial interests in accordance with the relevant regulations.
