A company based in Germiston is seeking two Press Operators / General Workers to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating eccentric presses to manufacture parts in line with order specifications, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality. You may also be required to assist the Production Manager with additional tasks when needed.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Senior Certificate) or equivalent qualification
Ability to use both hand tools and power tools
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor press machines and related equipment to produce parts according to company and customer requirements
Ensure all finished products meet quality and accuracy standards
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery and work areas
Assemble manufactured items (e.g. trolleys and similar products)
Carry out general housekeeping duties
Use tools such as spanners, drills, and other equipment effectively
