The South African Navy is recruiting three Registry Clerks to join the HR Administration Support team at Naval Base Simon’s Town. This role is ideal for organised individuals with strong administrative, leadership, and communication skills.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
- No previous work experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of business planning, budgeting, and administrative support systems.
- Leadership, supervisory, and team management abilities.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor staff.
- Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good organisational, planning, and adaptability skills.
- Ability to implement organisational policies and disciplinary procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing and maintaining the unit's operational systems and business processes.
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the work unit.
- Supervise personnel and ensure the effective functioning of the section.
- Support business planning and administrative activities.
- Ensure organisational objectives are achieved through effective coordination and leadership.

- Willingness to perform duties involving walking, standing, climbing, and lifting heavy items.
