Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be South African citizens.

Age requirement: 18–35 years.

Successful candidates will be appointed on a 24-month internship contract.

A monthly all-inclusive stipend of R7 860.50 will be paid.

All appointments are subject to compulsory pre-employment screening, including qualification verification, ITC, and criminal record checks.

All SASSA employees undergo mandatory security vetting upon appointment.

Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) prior to the selection process.
