Job Overview

Pick n Pay is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Shelf Packer to join its Sea Point store. The successful candidate will be responsible for replenishing shelves, maintaining stock displays, assisting customers, and ensuring the store remains clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenish shelves and display bins according to company merchandising standards.
• Ensure products are neatly arranged, correctly priced, and readily available for customers.
• Assist customers by answering product-related questions and providing excellent service.
• Recommend suitable products and respond to customer enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the store and warehouse.
• Unpack, stack, and store stock safely while minimising product damage.
• Ensure stock is stored according to the correct warehouse layout and safety procedures.
• Support the team with general merchandising and stock control activities as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Previous retail or merchandising experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move stock when required.
