About the Role

Click Group is looking for a Shop Assistant / Cashier to provide excellent customer service and support daily store operations at Clicks Nelspruit Plaza.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a positive shopping experience through efficient point of sale (POS) operations, merchandising, and customer interaction while supporting the company’s customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
• Handle cash safely and responsibly at all times
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and assist customers with new registrations
• Inform customers about current promotions and special offers
• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure good housekeeping standards in-store
• Keep updated on products, promotions, and store events to assist customers effectively
• Support store operations in line with company policies and values

Knowledge Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills
• Understanding of retail or FMCG environments
• Knowledge of merchandising and promotional activities
• Understanding of stock management procedures
• Knowledge of customer service principles

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Required)
• Mathematics and English at 50% level will be advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or FMCG environment will be beneficial
