Position Overview

Eastern Personnel Consultants is recruiting for a Spares Picker Packer within the automotive sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse picking, packing, stock handling, and maintaining accurate inventory processes in a busy warehouse environment.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: R7 845 per month (non-negotiable)
• Provident Fund
• December Bonus

Working Hours

🕗 Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
🕗 Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen
• Clear criminal record
• Criminal background verification checks will be conducted on the successful applicant

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking

• Locate and collect stock using picking lists, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems

Quality Control

• Inspect products for damages or defects before packing

Packing Duties

• Select suitable packaging materials and box sizes
• Secure packages using protective materials such as bubble wrap or air pillows

Labelling & Documentation

• Print and apply shipping labels
• Ensure invoices and packing slips are included with all orders

Inventory Control

• Update warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Assist with stock counts and inventory movement tracking

Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Operate pallet jacks, trolleys, and warehouse equipment safely
