Job Overview

Smart Kitchen Co. is seeking motivated and reliable Store Associates to join its Kempton Park team. Suitable candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be available to start immediately.

This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
• Fluent in English with strong attention to detail
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in retail or hospitality
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with web-based tools (e.g. Google Sheets)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings (until 23:00) and weekends
• Valid South African citizenship or work permit

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
• Receive, sort, and organise incoming stock
• Ensure efficient and timely order processing and dispatch
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Conduct daily stock counts and uphold stock control procedures
• Minimise waste and manage stock rotation using FIFO principles
• Operate relevant equipment as required
• Support the Shift Leader and Area Manager with additional duties when needed
• Additional Information

• Candidates must be able to commute reliably to Kempton Park or be willing to relocate before starting
• Applicants should be available to work night shifts and weekends
