Pump and Abrasion Technologies is seeking a motivated and reliable Stores Assistant (Picker) to join its warehouse team in Sunderland Ridge, Centurion. The successful candidate will assist with stock handling, order picking, inventory control, and general warehouse operations while ensuring a safe and organized working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare stock orders for dispatch.
• Select products from shelves and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Pack, seal, label, and prepare items for shipping.
• Receive, store, and organize incoming inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages when necessary.
• Maintain records of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Verify order accuracy and complete required documentation.
• Move completed orders to designated shipping areas.
• Stack and secure pallets using stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy, and well-organized.
• Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and operational procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar warehouse or stores role.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience using warehouse tools and equipment.
• High level of integrity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely operate and handle warehouse machinery and equipment.

Important Information

This is a physically demanding warehouse position. Candidates must be comfortable lifting, carrying, and moving stock and parts from warehouse shelves throughout the workday.
