Job Purpose
The learnership focuses on training participants to operate automated packaging equipment while adhering to strict health, safety, and quality standards. Learners will gain exposure to business operations, basic mechanical maintenance, and effective communication required for smooth production line coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Participants will be required to:

Perform routine production line operations and cleaning activities

Conduct pre-start-up inspections to ensure equipment readiness, cleanliness, and safety

Monitor product and packaging quality in line with required standards and report defects

Identify process irregularities and take corrective action promptly

Clean machinery in accordance with manufacturer instructions and site procedures

Prepare and verify raw materials for production use

Maintain personal and team safety on the production line

Contribute to environmentally responsible and sustainable work practices

Complete all learnership requirements, including assessments, logbooks, and assignments
Minimum Qualifications

National Senior Certificate (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science,
OR -
N2, N3, or N4 Engineering qualification

Additional Information
Relocation:
No relocation assistance will be provided. Applicants must already reside in or be able to relocate to the role location at their own cost.
Compensation:
A monthly stipend will be paid for the duration of the learnership.
Work Environment:
This is a factory-based role.
