About the Role

A reputable company in Midrand is seeking a dedicated and dependable Warehouse Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across warehouse facilities, communal areas, and restroom facilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the workplace remains clean, organised, and presentable while also providing occasional support to logistics operations through driving and general assistance duties.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse or industrial cleaning environments who hold a valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with a PDP.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties

• Perform general cleaning within warehouse facilities and surrounding areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise floors and workspaces.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and communal areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in restroom facilities by:
  • Cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Sanitising surfaces and fixtures.
  • Replenishing consumables and cleaning supplies.
  • Emptying waste bins and replacing liners.
• Ensure kitchen and staff communal areas remain clean and organised.
• Dispose of waste materials in designated disposal areas.
• Maintain high sanitation and housekeeping standards throughout assigned areas.
• Assist with office cleaning duties when required.

Logistics Support

• Provide occasional driving support for operational requirements.
• Assist with overflow logistics and warehouse-related tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience cleaning warehouses, industrial facilities, or large office environments.
• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Experience operating and driving an 8-ton truck.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable.
