Position Overview
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme is designed to provide students and recent graduates with valuable workplace exposure. The programme enables participants to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting while developing industry-relevant skills.
Over an 18-month period, trainees will gain hands-on experience, structured training, mentorship, and exposure to operational activities aimed at enhancing employability and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Task Execution

Support departmental projects and specific workstreams.

Perform routine operational duties under supervision.

Assist with administrative functions, including documentation and reporting.
Learning & Development
-
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship initiatives.
-
Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical industry insight.

Contribute to problem-solving activities to strengthen analytical capabilities.
Communication & Collaboration
-
Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand operational requirements.

Provide regular updates on assigned responsibilities and project progress.

Act as a point of contact for general queries and support.
Compliance & Safety

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Maintain high ethical and professional standards.

Ensure confidentiality and integrity in all assigned duties.
Research & Analysis

Conduct research, collect data, and perform analysis to support business decision-making.

Compile reports and presentations using MS Office applications.

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
-
N6 qualification in Transport & Logistics or Business Management.
-
South African citizenship.
-
Aged between 18 and 35 years.
-
No existing bursary obligation with another organisation.

Preference will be given to persons with disabilities.

Certified copies of Matric certificate, academic record, ID document, and TVET College experiential learning letter must be submitted.
