The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources is inviting applications for the position of Administration Clerk: Mineral Statistics at its Head Office in Pretoria.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification

  • No previous work experience required

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Capture and update statistical data

  • Extract information from SAMINDEX and related databases

  • Provide administrative support services

  • Liaise with mines and relevant organisations regarding missing or questionable information

Additional Information

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete two pre-entry assessments:

  • A practical exercise

  • An Integrity (Ethical Conduct) Assessment

These assessments will form part of the interview and selection process.
