About the Opportunity
Renault Multifranchise (Renault Fourways) is currently seeking a motivated individual for an Apprentice Level 1 position.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this role is ideal for someone passionate about vehicle repairs and eager to build a career as a qualified Motor Mechanic Technician. The successful candidate will participate in an apprenticeship programme of up to three years.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Remove and replace vehicle parts and components
- Jack up vehicles and secure them safely
- Perform oil changes and lubrication under supervision
- Remove and fit wheels, batteries, air filters, and oil filters
- Support general repair tasks and workshop activities
- Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and workspaces
- Follow all safety procedures and workshop standards
- Attend required technical training and development courses
- Carry out additional duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
- Technical Matric will be advantageous
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
- Clear criminal record
