A leading FMCG company is inviting unemployed young South Africans to apply for its Customer Service Centre (CSC) Learnership Programme. This programme combines practical workplace experience with structured training, giving learners the opportunity to earn an NQF qualification while developing valuable customer service and call centre skills.
Successful candidates will complete the learnership at the company's Customer Service Centre in Constantia Park, Roodepoort, while attending the required training sessions.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Matric must have been completed within the last five years (2021–2025).
- A minimum average of 55% in English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Good computer literacy.
- Currently unemployed.
- Must not have previously participated in a learnership programme.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Excellent Customer Service
- Provide professional and efficient customer support.
- Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints by engaging the relevant departments.
Process Customer Orders
- Capture customer orders accurately and within required timeframes.
- Confirm customer orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Notify customers when accounts are on hold.
- Escalate order-related issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
Promote Products and Services
- Introduce customers to new or additional products.
- Explain product features, promotions, and special offers.
- Promote the company's product range based on customer needs.
Support Team Success
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Participate actively in team meetings.
- Assist with maintaining accurate visual management and operational information.
