Role Overview
The Driver will be responsible for general messenger duties, with a primary focus on driving, as well as handling deliveries, collections, and banking-related tasks.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Valid light motor vehicle driver’s licence (essential)

- Computer literacy (MS Outlook and MS Excel)

Key Responsibilities
Deliveries and Collections
- Perform deliveries and collections between the main office and sub-offices (e.g. leases, tenders, statements, and documentation)
- Collect bank statements and handle weekly bank guarantee deliveries
- Deliver and collect office supplies, equipment (e.g. laptops), and refreshments
- Transport archive boxes between offices
- Match courier waybills with invoices and capture details accurately
- Retrieve and print missing waybills from supplier systems
Mail Handling
- Collect mail from post office boxes
- Handle registered mail and maintain accurate records
- Distribute mail to relevant staff in coordination with reception
- Follow up on registered mail using tracking systems
Banking Duties
- Conduct daily banking activities
- File deposit slips and maintain proper records
- Process payments where required (e.g. retailers, SARS)
Shuttle Services
- Transport staff members as required
General Duties
- Perform any additional reasonable tasks as assigned by management
