Minimum Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Relevant experience transporting staff, goods, and equipment
- Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence
Important Requirements
Applicants must be:
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, and standby shifts
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and loading heavy items
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned duties
Key Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of transport regulations
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, responsible, and accountable
Main Duties
- Transport employees, goods, equipment, chronic medication, post, and laundry bags
- Deliver and collect blood products
- Complete vehicle logbooks and related records
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, and cleaning
- Report vehicle faults and defects
- Assist with administrative duties when required
- Respond to emergency situations when necessary
- Provide relief support within the department when needed
