Job Overview

A reputable company within the industrial and operations sector is looking for a dependable and professional Driver to support its transport and logistics functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting employees, handling deliveries and collections, and ensuring that company vehicles are kept in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities

Transport & Deliveries

• Safely transport staff, equipment, and materials to assigned destinations
• Collect and deliver parcels, documents, and goods as required
• Plan and adjust routes to ensure timely and efficient travel

Vehicle Maintenance

• Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained
• Conduct routine inspections and report any faults or damages
• Ensure the vehicle is parked safely and in compliance with regulations

Administration

• Maintain accurate trip logs and travel records
• Report any incidents, traffic fines, or accidents promptly

Communication

• Engage professionally with staff, clients, and suppliers
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid Driver’s License with PDP
• Clean driving record
• 2–4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations
• Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
