Role Overview

The Junior Learner will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team while gaining practical exposure across various HR functions. These include Learning and Development, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and HR Operations.

This role is structured to build foundational HR competencies while supporting the effective delivery of HR services within the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Workplace Learning: Participate fully in workplace learning activities aligned with agreed development goals.

  • Training & Development: Attend and engage in all formal training interventions to support professional growth.

  • Administrative Support: Complete required administrative tasks, including tracking, reporting, and documentation.

  • Ad Hoc Assistance: Provide ongoing support to internal customers and team members to ensure optimal team performance.


Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related qualification

  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Clear credit and criminal record


Additional Information

  • Education Requirement: GET Certificate in Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
