Division: Operational Response Service – Public Order Policing
Location: Head Office, Maupa Naga, Pretoria
Salary: R144,024 per annum (Salary Level 2)
Minimum Requirements
- ABET Level 4, Grade 9 (Standard 7), or NQF Level 1 qualification.
- South African citizenship (proof must be provided during the interview).
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols.
- Understanding of the safe handling and use of cleaning detergents.
- Ability to read and write effectively.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment and machines.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide messenger and general office support services, including:
- Delivering and collecting official correspondence, files, documents, and parcels.
- Sorting, recording, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintaining correspondence registers and delivery records.
- Ensuring recipients sign delivery registers upon receipt of documents.
- Assisting with general office support duties.
- Photocopying, faxing, scanning, and shredding documents.
- Supporting the smooth flow of administrative and registry functions.
