Job Overview

The Picker Packer will be responsible for selecting, packing, and preparing stock for dispatch while ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently and safely. The role also involves loading and offloading goods, checking stock quality, and supporting inventory processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming stock
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Ensure stock is dispatched correctly and on time
• Check products for damages and report issues to management
• Load and offload delivery vehicles
• Assist with stock counts and stock variance investigations
• Handle back orders and communicate fulfilment issues
• Report faulty equipment and warehouse concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines
• Support additional warehouse duties when required

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Relevant qualification will be advantageous
• 2–3 years experience in a similar warehouse role
• Computer literacy skills
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of warehouse safety procedures
• Familiarity with handheld scanning devices
