About the Programme

Henred Fruehauf / SA Truck Bodies is offering a MERSETA-accredited Welding Learnership designed to equip learners with practical welding skills and workplace experience.

The programme consists of four training stages, and learners must successfully complete each stage before progressing to the next. The full course duration is 14 weeks.

Training Areas Include

• MIG Welding (CO₂ Welding)
• ARC Welding (Stick Welding)
• Oxy-Fuel Gas Cutting
• Grinding Techniques
• Hand Tool Usage
• Practical Workplace Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Compulsory)
• Applicants must be between 18 and 27 years old
• N1 or N2 qualification will be advantageous
• Technical aptitude and interest in welding/trade work
• Contactable references
• Reliable transport to and from the training centre in Bellville South
