The Department of Employment and Labour – Compensation Fund invites suitably qualified graduates to apply for its 24-month Graduate Internship Programme.

This programme is designed to provide practical workplace experience aligned to graduates’ qualifications.

Applicants must:

• Be South African citizens

• Be unemployed

• Not have previously participated in any internship programme

CLOSING DATE

27 February 2026

• 16:00 for walk-in applications

• 23:59 for online/email submissions

IMPORTANT NOTES

The internship programme aims to provide relevant workplace exposure for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of appointment.

Application Requirements:

• A fully completed, initialled and signed new Z83 Application Form

• A detailed and updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)

The new Z83 form can be obtained from any Public Service Department or downloaded from:
www.gov.za/documents

⚠️ Applications submitted using the old Z83 form will not be considered.

Applicants are not required to submit copies of qualifications or supporting documents at application stage. Only shortlisted candidates will be requested to submit certified copies before the interview.

For online/email applications:

• Submit the Z83 and CV only

• Combine into one (1) PDF document

• Clearly indicate the job title and reference number in the email subject line

Failure to comply with these requirements will result in disqualification.

• Shortlisted candidates will undergo personnel suitability checks (criminal record, citizenship, credit record, qualification and employment verification).

• Applicants must disclose any pending criminal, disciplinary, or other investigations.

• Any false declaration may lead to disqualification or termination of appointment.

• Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA (required only if shortlisted).

• The Department reserves the right not to fill the advertised posts.

Stipend

R7 860.50 per month
