Learnership Programme Overview

The Learnership Programme combines structured institutional learning with practical on-the-job training. It is designed to equip learners with the technical knowledge and workplace skills required to succeed in their chosen trade.

Learnerships are available in the following disciplines:

• Mechanical Fitter

• Instrumentation

• Electrician

• Chemical Plant Operator

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have completed a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification with passes in:

• Technical Mathematics or Mathematics

• English or Business English

• Technical Science or Physical Science

Core Responsibilities

• Participate fully in the Learnership Programme and successfully complete all required assessments.

• Engage in workplace readiness activities and practical training exercises.
